When you are a white horse there ain't anything better in the world than being allowed to roll in the dirt after a long drive and a bath on a hot summer day.
Yeah Indigo is a roller. She luckily chose a pretty grassy spot this time so I only really seen some green spots on her. She was pretty dry by the time I turned her out. It was very humid yesterday.
Yes...sooo true! We got done with our hot ride and bathed then horses...but then, my sissy changed her mind -where- her horse could roll! She opted for the grassy turn out instead of the dirty one that could render much more fly shield -in mudd and dust on the horses!! Wimp! They still had a dandy time rolling in the grasses! Loved your perfectly timed photo! Beautiful KK
I've seen a lot of pictures of horses rolling around in teh dirt this week. Must be communicating with each other somehow and planning these things! Great picture. Looks like a really happy horse!
Nice catch girl! Yep, nothing like a big fat roll on a hot summer day. It must be contagious too, because I just posted one from my camera phone this morning, so make it four Shirley! *Laugh* (definitely not as good as yours though :o)

Well maybe being fed treats.
WOW Sydney!!! What a great shot this is!!! Look at all that flying hair, beautiful....yep they always have to roll after a good bath!!! LOL
watching animals do their thing always amuses me.
perfect timing. love it.
Mine's up! Happy WW.
What a wonderful shot....it's amazing to me that such a big animal can frolic in such a way!
That certainly seems like a very fun thing to do. :)
Ha! That's at least 3 of us that posted rolling horses today!
That is a great picture of Indigo! Why is it that they have to roll after every bath? So frustrating to every horse owner, but not to the horse!
What a great shot, pretty flowers, pretty mane, silly horse!

Love a rolling horse. Great picture. And the dirtier the better right?
Now that's a happy picture. :)
Summer seems to be the best time of year for rolling horses. Apache loves to roll right after it rains.
My little muddy puppy mare.
