Sunday stills: landscapes, fall colours
Fall is pretty boring here colour wise compared to other places. The fields are brown. The trees go from green to brown and if you are lucky yellow or red.
My horses cute little brown spots go light as her fluffy winter coat grows in.
The soybeans are almost ready to harvest. It was kind of a misty day. I wish we would actually get summer and skip all this cold fall and winter crap.
I have been a little swamped with school and work lately. I didn't have time for pictures really. These were taken between work, fixing up Indigo and rushing off to class (which on this day I was late for because of this detour for picture taking)
If you see the last post I did there are better fall colours in terms of rosehips but they didn't quite fit into landscapes.
Enjoy.

very pretty photos :)
You beat me to it! I took pictures of some of the fall colors on tuesday but haven't posted them yet.
I like indigo's back against the colors. When you ride her you can't see the spots. It looks like your with a colgate white horse. She looks so sleek and tall. I love it.
The colours may not be as striking as some places, but the atmosphere is certainly fall...with its soft browns and beiges, hints of yellows and ochres..still beautfiul!

Very nice and I love that Johnny Cash song! I'm off to i-tunes to find it....
I'm with Ronelle.you defnitely show Fall color. Love the spotted horse. :)
The trees over the topline of your horse is a great shot! Thanks for sharing!
Clever to get the color change on your horse!
This is a lot of how our Fall is around here, too. We have to up into the higher elevations (we're only at 7,000ft) to see any real color. We mostly have green all year long (from the juniper and pinon trees), so there isn't much change between seasons.
I like your photos of the fields the bets...and of course, Indigo's beautiful back. Sort of reminds me of hills.

You may not have vivid color, but you've got some color...and the misty day sure gave your photos the feel of fall. Nice!
Cool shots! The single tree shot is amazing :)
Lovely.
i love it when you get to see all 4 seasons...but your area has it's own sense of fall!
Thanks for your comments. That single tree was a good 500 feet away. Having said that I love my new lens.
Oh I think your fall is beautiful!!! I just hopped onto your blog and it's awesome!! Can't wait to read more!
