"A horse loves freedom, and the weariest old work horse will roll on the ground or break into a lumbering gallop when he is turned loose into the open." ~Gerald Raferty
That is my favorite horse quote ever!!! Mainly because it is so true...as evinced by our Blonde Boys, every time we turn them back out after a day working in harness or even a quick ride...down they go, groaning the whole while!
Great photos there! I like to see a horse stop drop and roll then get up and run off! True freedom! Hey I'm not being ungrateful here....just still no package arrived! I'll post as soon as I get it.

Very cool shots, nothing like a good roll and a run. Your comments are up at SS..:-)
Nothing like being able to roll!!
Sydney, love those above the ground shots! To be free and roll in the grass must be heaven to a horse!!!
Great pictures!
Jane and Gil
Excellent shots!
How I love watching horses run and roll!!!
Great photos and such an appropriate title!
That is why it always makes me sad to visit a barn where the turn out is limited. Those are beautiful shots and one very happy horse
