Sunday stills: Flags

Flags, flags, flags. Where to begin?

Canada of course!
My homeland. I have sung "O' Canada" so many times and heard it every single morning in school it makes my ears want to bleed.

Of course the advantages of living almost on the Canadian/American border is I can take a trip to the ol' US of A and get an American flag picture too. Driving down I75 is not beneficial for picture taking I have found. Neither is rain. Both of which we encountered on the way to the Michigan renaissance festival

Flags a certainly a difficult subject. I think I got more duds than acceptable, distinguishable flag photo's.

For more flag photo's check out Sunday stills

do you live in Windsor? I was there in 1975-77 and used to go across to Detroit.

The Canadian flag with the clouds in the background is gorgeous!

Syd did I ever tell you about how I was trying to take an awesome picture of the Canadian Flag on an island in the sunset up north? It was an epic set up. And as I was looking in my viewfinder, my little cousin pipes in, "ARE THOSE PEOPLE SKINNY DIPPING!?"
...I was pointing my camera in the direction of the naked swimming people that owned the island.
Oops!

Boy, those clouds behind the US flag look ominous. Almost fitting, given our current state of affairs....

Both great pictures. The Renaissance Fair looks like fun.
