Does this mean we are in for a rough winter?

Look at how fat this sucker is! Never in my life have I seen chins on a squirrel.

I kept stalking this fatty all through willistead manor. He would zoom up a tree when I got too close but as soon as I was out of his range he would waddle back down the tree to eat acorns.
Anyone had roast squirrel? I bet he would make a nice juicy one.
Hes gotta have some mean fighting skills to beat off the other squirrels from the tasty morsels he finds. I bet that is it.

Oh Mr.Obese squirrel how cute you are. Please just be fat and have a nice, warm winter. Pleeaaasseee?

I've never seen one w/cheeks like that, either! Great pictures, they move so fast and are hard to get close enough to photograph! ;)

At first I thought it had pouches in their cheeks but they don't, that is chipmunks. It's just a plain fatty.

Hey, girl!!! Been a while since I've been able to get on your blog! Love the shots and to be honest I've never seen such a healthy looking squirrel! My Yooper friends tell me the weather up that way has been wet and cold!

OMG that is the fattest squirrel I've ever seen! I hope it isnt an indicator for a bad winter!! 'Cause if it is we're in trouble:)

Fat squirrels & the Farmers Almanac telling me it's gonna be colder than usual...what is colder than usual for a Vermont winter, really?
Did you buy your horse knowing how to drive, or did you have to train her for it? Do you just pleasure drive or do you ever take her to competitions?

Thanks for the meme idea!

I haven't had roast squirrel, but that one looks fat and juicy. It's making me hungry. Of course, I haven't eaten in a couple hours, so go figure.

It looks like that squirrel and I might have the same eating disorder! We are both well insulated for the winter time! hahahaha!! He is rather chunky!
