Sunday stills: Moods and emotions

I have to admit I was kind of stumped for this challenge. I never ended up taking many pictures this week and when I did I forgot about the challenge so here are some old and some new.

Interpret what mood or emotion you get from them. Comments, critique (especially, but make it constructive) are always welcome)

The soft eye of the horse, and the water are serenity, the pony is mischievous, the bird in the tree and the horse in snow make me long for spring!

This is great. I just completed a chapter in my marketing class about how to elicit certain emotions from your audience. All of these sunday stills posts have provided me with a lot of context for those lectures.

I think my favourite is the second one, it really seems to convey a sort of lone survival feeling. Probably because the colour of the bird is a patriotic one, and the tree is bare, indicating hard times.

They are all beautiful though!

Thank you for all your comments. This was a very hard challenge but once I started to look at the pictures it turned out easy. Glad everyone enjoys my pictures, I try.

Oh, I LOVE the first one, horse eyes are so beautiful. What are they thinking, I always wonder?
The bird and the running horse makes me think of freedom also. Beautiful horse!
The ocean, peaceful.
The last one, power.
Beautiful shots!

The horse's eyes are thoughtful, and kind. 2nd one is lonely, and the 3rd says, "get out of my way!" The ocean is always peaceful for me, and the horse in the snow makes me think fun!VELENA

The first one looks peaceful and makes me takes a deep breath and relax. The third one makes me want to jump out of the way, hehe. The water is also peaceful, but also kind of chilly looking and the last one is beautiful. Makes me want to throw a snowball for some reason. Great job!

It's funny the third picture people want to jump out of the way. What was actually happening was I had called Indigo and she was trotting over to see what I wanted when Sebastian as seen in the previous post called Freedom had just started to presuit her so she went from ears forward going "yes mum?" to "GET THE F- AWAY!!!>:C" in this shot. Funny how horses emotions can change that fast.

Your compositions for these photo are superb!

1)Peace and Calm
2)Pride and Individuality
3)Fear. Running away from something
4)Mystery and foreboding
5)Anticipating what?

The last one stumped me. Nothing came, although I looked for a while. lol!
Great shots, though.
