Macro Monday: What type of braid?

Who can tell me what type of braid this is?

Hint: it is a type of french braid and It's in Indigo's mane.

It looks really great! I LOVE her silvery gray mane...very very pretty! :)
Is it a running braid?...I really have no idea. I normally call it a french braid. :P
I must say though...Daisy's incredibly patient for braiding too ;)

Have no idea, but her hair looks lovely with all the shades of silver, grey and white blending together in the braid :)

I just call it a french braid or running braid. Love the silver color. I was once at a show that Friesians were participating in they had the most amazing braids done in diamond patterns and other intricate designs, very cool.

A GOOD ONE!! I have an example of a crap one on CAZI mustang in one of my last posts!
He has the mane of 4 horses though..I.
could do 3 consecutive "running braids"(is what I think it's called)on him and it would still be as big as a house!
I only do it because, when I am riding him, his mane becomes entwined in the reins!

Beautiful braid..great macro..you have patience girl! I will guess some kind of a standing french braid..have you ever done the one called fish bone or fish tail?:)
