Where I have been/Super support award

This has been an absolutely INSANE week.

Between working normally I have so much preparation for my trip to Ireland on the 17th. Sometimes I am too responsible and outgoing for my own good I think. I have a literal list a page long that has two things checked off on it. If I make it to the 17th with half of it together I am doing good.

I am also on hat #3 now. Hat + tree branches or random gusts of wind + stock shredder on the back of the tractor to cut grass= 56838493720489324786786979 different pieces of hat scattered about the lawn in about .1 of a second. Today the hat gods frown down upon me. The John deere gods too, that was my favorite baseball cap :(

Other time sucking activities. Some of you know I moderate and help run a pretty decent size web design/development/creation site. The site and all the codes and server was sold. The people who bought it just want it for the URL and doesn't care about the community now that the server bill was due. So doing what I do best, taking on yet another responsibility, I took it into my own hands to attempt a save at this site for the over 30 thousand members having put time and money into the community. I have been on it for nearly 6 years since alpha and beta testing. When something like this comes along and you put so much money, time, blood, sweat and tears into, it kind of irks you when it just up and disappears without notice.
Word of the wise, never, ever, ever get into web development. It will suck your soul away. And put 300 e-mails in your inbox that you have to answer! I might actually, maybe, hopefully get to actually sleep tonight.

The good news is I have ridden/driven a ton this week. I got a new harness a few weeks ago and have only used it twice. It's a quite heavy duity biothane harness. It's excellently made. I exchanged it for some work at a farm and it's practically brand new, not being used at their farm. Indigo is ecstatic (note sarcasm)

With all this and done I got another award this week from Allhorsestuff. Little ol me! I got the super support award with a rather odd looking brazier I think I likely had my face squished into as a small child getting hugs from large breasted relatives at family get togethers. See there, I just got the shivers thinking about it.

I am to give this award away. There are no rules. Give it away to as many as you want make sure to link them on your blog and post the picture of the terrifying funny brazier on your blog.

First of all I want to say, each and every one of you has inspired me, supported me, kept me going. I would never have guessed there were so many supporters of my decision to ride, drive and train horses bitless. When I first started there was so much controversy. As with everything science people still wanted to do things the traditional way. Some still do, even when faced with the facts. I would like to thank all of you who read in supporting me in my bitless journey. Weather you ride in a bit or bitless, ok especially those who are bitted because without bits we would not be looking into alternative ways to ride and drive our horses. Thanks to all the horses with problems that had their owners bring them to us wanting to find a solution to their problems and found it through bitless. You all keep me going on this journey.

And now I would like to give this award away to Lisa from Laughing Orcha Ranch Lisa is always here to comment so positively. This gal has had her ups and downs with horsemanship and proved that if at first you don't succeed try, try again. Shes got a wonderful mare now and is progressing with her horsemanship. If you haven't visited Lisa's blog please do. She writes from the bottom of her heart about all things shes passionate about. Congrats Lisa! You deserve it along with a pay it forward thats coming back to you full of goodies after I get back from Ireland.

Congratulations on your extra large bra! :)

I can't believe that your Ireland is so close at hand. I am so excited for you, I am sure you are out of your mind!

I have been meaning to ask you. Do you drive bitless too?

lol!...Yes, freaky! Thanks for thinking of me and your kind words, too. You're sweet :)

I'm wondering if you can make yourself some stampede strings for your baseball caps? Enough of the destroyed and lost hats already.

You've been one busy chickie all leading up to this Ireland trip.
300 e-mails to read? gah! I can barely keep up with the 20-30 or so I get each day. I think this next generation of computer using humans will have a new and even more serious affliction than carpal tunnel syndrome to deal with. It's called "Numb Butt"

lol!
